Picaros: Meanings of Spanish words needed

in tintin and the picaros on pg 23 panel 9
when pablo enters the house he says "buenas tardes,senores"
what does that mean.
and another word in the same book on page21 panel 6
tintin says "buenos dias captain" what does that mean
plz help.

First means 'good afternoon gentlemen' and second means 'good morning captain'.

If my spanish isn't all mixed up,
"buenos dias captain"
dias means day not morning, and the line is good day captain. I also believe that "tardes" is evening rather than afternoon.

and i remember reading in the same book the words
buenos noches
i dont exactly know where
what does that mean

"Buenos noches" means "good nights". Page 19, frame 5.
