Sorry to all for the delay, but I had difficulties coming up with a new question.

Where is a leech being ghastly to dear old captain Haddock? This is sort of a Yamilah-question, so beware.

Nice question, that. And a question that foreign (non-english) language speakers might be able to answer.

Yes, good question Labrador.
I think I got this one as soon as I saw the name.

Dr. Leech concludes at the beginning of Red Rackham's Treasure that Archie has a bad liver and thus bans him from drinking any alcohol! It is indeed ghastly news as the treasure hunt is put in jeopardy. Personally I would have gotten a second opinion. I mean, a couple of beers out on deck while searching for the island, maybe throw a fishing line over the side... Bliss. :-)

Well done Ranko, the doctor A. Leech is exactly whom I was asking about. Your turn.

By the way, when I saw the name I thought of Archibald Leach which was the real name of actor Cary Grant who also shares his first name with the captain.

when I saw the name I thought of Archibald Leach which was the real name of actor Cary Grant who also shares his first name with the captain.

And also the name of John Cleese's character in A Fish Called Wanda, named because Cleese and Cary Grant both grew up in Weston-super-Mare, UK.

Well done Ranko, the point goes to you.
