What is it? A description of the scene in which it appears will suffice.

I'm away at university so don't have the books with me, but I will take a guess at Cigars of the Pharaoh where Tintin is at a mental institue thing for those who have gone mad from Rajaijah the madness juice, and there is a patient watering a hat on the grass?

Nice one Jolyon. Yes, in the background of the 5th frame on page 44 we see a patient watering a bowler hat. More than likely belonging to one of the Thompsons knowing their luck with hats!

You get the point and the next question.
