In the interests of maintaining fairness, the lack of a mechanism to verify answers, and the disproportionate amount of moderation such undertakings require

we ask that members refrain from starting any on-going:
· quizzes
· competitions
· challenges
· riddles
· puzzles
· conundrums
· brain-teasers

or, indeed any such similar threads!

We are aware that there is an appetite for such games amongst members, but, regretfully, past experience has led the team to request that no new threads dedicated to such pursuits be started; any which do get started will be liable to summary closure.

We may try and re-establish a game or quiz at some point, but until we get the problems ironed out, it just isn't practical.
