Merry Christmas 2024

Dear friends,

As Christmas approaches, I find myself reflecting on the journey we've shared since our site moved to its current home in 2003. It's amazing how far we've come, and I'm grateful to each of you who has been a part of this community over the years. Despite the challenges like copyright limitations, time constraints, or the small size of our team, we've built a meaningful archive of articles and reference resources for fans of our favourite comic book series.

For over a decade, full-time work and care-giving duties have meant I no longer have the time that I once had for regular site updates or creating new content. Consequently, site content updates are now mostly made when errors are found. However, I remain conscientious about regular monitoring and necessary maintenance to ensure our site continues running smoothly.

New content is now mostly generated through discussions, discoveries, and shared news in our forums and on social media. This shift to a completely collaborative, dynamic, real-time way of content creation helps keep our site active and engaging, and I encourage everyone to participate and contribute.

A special thank you goes to our volunteer crew, particularly Simon (jock123), whose continued support has been invaluable. Simon's annual Tintinologist Christmas card is always a highlight of the season: check out this year's card on our Facebook page.

Whether you're a long-time visitor or someone new to our site, I thank you for your support, participation, and contributions. Even if I can't reply to every email, please know that I read and appreciate every one.

Wishing you all a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!

Well said Irene, and thank you for hosting this amazing site. It really has been the top destination for English-speaking Tintin fans worldwide for over 20 years now. Long may it continue.

A very merry Christmas to one and all, cheers!

Sorry to be a little late adding a Merry Christmas message,
but Happy New Year to all!
And many thanks to Irene for founding and hosting this fabulous site for all these years and to Simon for all his tireless work, and to fellow moderator Chris, and to all our members!
John
