Hi Sponsz,
I contacted some Romanian Tintin fans and they were not aware of this edition.
One quote: "Unfortunately, I don't know of any Romanian translations of Tintin. I couldn't
find anything on the web either, though I tried advanced searches and I used
different book store and library catalogues. Where did you find the two
translations mentioned?

Tintin is certainly known in Romania, but that's mainly because people read
the original version. Romanian publishing houses didn't start publishing
translations of cartoon/comics/bandes desinees until recently, and Garfield was
their first choice."

Maybe the books are not yet in print. Have you found more about them recently?

I am very keen to track down Tintin in Romanian [i.e. the translation].
Is the full series going to be translated, or just Cigars and Lotus?
Also, can anyone confirm what price any Romanian translations went for on ebay?

yours,
Dr Kropsel
